What it does
- Live map search. Reptile shops, exotic pet stores or feeder insects, anywhere in the US.
- A hand-verified list of the legends. East Bay Vivarium, NERD, LLLReptile, Snake Discovery and more — each checked against real sources, with the verification date on the listing.
- Filter by what you keep. Ball python, bearded dragon, leopard gecko, corn snake, crested gecko.
- An expo calendar that is actually checked. Every date comes from the organizer’s own schedule or the venue’s booking calendar.
- Show reminders. A week out, the day before, and on show morning. They live on your phone.
Why the dates are right
Listing sites copy each other. While building this we found four shows being advertised on other sites that the organizers themselves had not confirmed: one where the official page still said “TBD”, one that had been postponed with no tickets on sale, one whose only evidence was alt text inside an image, and one where the venue’s calendar had no such booking.
So we only ship a date if it comes from the organizer’s own page, the venue’s own booking calendar, or two genuinely independent sources. Two pages on the same website count as one source. A vendor’s show schedule is a lead, never a source.
Privacy, plainly
No accounts. No analytics. No tracking. There is no Anole server that knows anything about you. Location is optional and used only to centre the map and sort by distance — searches run through Apple Maps and we never receive them. Read the full policy.
